Today I had the honour of an exclusive interview with Shay Maria. I'm sure the guys state side are well aware of this lady but for those of you in the UK who are still wondering....
Shay Maria is a dancer and a model whose impressive CV (Resume) already includes working with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Hilary Duff, Q-Tip, Jay Sean, Streetwear giants The Hundreds and recently The 2010 Primitive Campaign.

For those in the UK who don't yet know you explain to them a little about yourself and where you're from?
Welp I am from beautiful California, born and raised. Started dancing since before I can remember then got in the modelling game (=
Modelling or Dancing. Which comes first?
Dance def! it's my therapy
What was your first modelling/dance gig you did and how did they go?
My first dance gig was for the Nip Tuck Season 6 promo it as soooooo fun but a 15 hour day! YIKESs, my first modelling gig was with Hot Topic it was really laid back and fun.
You've worked with some big names already, who's next?
EEEE i'm not sure I would love to do something for BeBe of Guess
Who would you most like to work with if anyone?
I've always dreamed I would backup dance for Michael Jackson.... =/
If you could pick one photographer to do the ultimate portrait shoot, who would it be?

When can we expect to see you in the UK next?
Not too sure.. my life is always a adventure, so hopefully soon!
Who is your main source of inspiration as a model and as a dancer?
Tyra has took modelling to the next level for sure! and a dancer that I look up to is Shaun Evaristo, he is so amazing!
What turns you on? what turns you off?
Foood (; and farts/burps def is a turnoff.
